Guardian and Stonewall Ignore Reality

The appalling state attack on the personal sexual lives and choices of people in Uganda has been going on for some time, and has just reached another absolutely vile level:
Uganda’s parliament passes mostly unchanged anti-LGBTQ bill | Uganda | The Guardian

It shows how far from reality the "Guardian" has gone that it headlines its report GLBTQ - when the Uganda parliamentary attack in on same-sex behaviour, same-sex organisations and events, places used for same-sex activity and same-sex attracted people. SAME. SEX. Not gender, or gender identity, or non-binary.

Since this is possibly the biggest attack on gay people of both sexes, and of all races and nationalities, in the world right now; and that it urgently needs coordinated protest that will be felt and heard in Uganda, I searched the word "Uganda" on the Stonewall website. Not a single result.

So the "Guardian" understands these events through a distorting mirror, while Stonewall ignores them completely. And we are supposed to worry about pronouns and believe there is a trans genocide taking place. Visit Uganda if you want to see advertisements for a genocide, even become a victim!

Just miserable. Uganda is one of my favourite places. It's hard to hold the two ideas at the same time. A beautiful place where I met wonderful kind people. And horrible genocial discrimination.

A section on Uganda linking to further information on the LGB Alliance website (the first link is broken unfortunately) ...

Thank you for that. It is not a surprise that LGB Alliance does actually care about gay people, of all races and nationalities, facing horrific discrimination. I attended the LGB Alliance 2022 Conference and there was a speaker from Uganda. Can you imagine what such a participant in a Stonewall forum on the campaign to criminalise mis-gendering might say -- and how he might be denounced as genocidally transphobic for his comments.
