Stella Creasy: MP faced probe after online troll contacted police

When I saw this headline (on the BBC news site earlier, rather than just now here linked on FWR), I wondered if it was in relation to her defence and indeed jubilant consumption of DQST. But I gather it was an entirely spurious accusation from a misogynist man?

What happened to her is awful and
I hope things are changed so it can never happen again.

However I listened to her on R4 today speaking about how dreadful it was that women will be silenced by what has happened to her, and couldn’t help thinking of how she likes silences anyone who is vocal about wanting to protect woman and girls single sex spaces. What hypocrisy Stella!

On the Today programme on Radio 4 this morning, Justin Webb asked her specifically about whether she was concerned about the directly comparable situation of gender critical women having to deal with the Police being weaponised against them by abusers and she made sure not to engage with what she'd been asked.

If there's one thing that will get Creasy in campaigning mode it's something that has an impact on her personally.

That is really interesting that she avoided engagement on that question. Well done him though for asking it.
