In Which Dobby Gets A Sock, And Indeed, A Cake!

Despite LEGO being regarded as being woke, there's just no stopping them as far as producing Harry Potter related sets is concerned, much to the chagrin of the blue haired, anti JKR mob, i'm sure.
Anyhoo, today, pics have been released of the latest set waiting to be released, Dobby with sock and cake. I have no idea what sort of cake it is, perhaps readers of the books, or even non readers of the books might like to put forward their guesses as to what sort of cake it is, perhaps with recipes?

Not sure if i'll buy the set, i don't know the price yet but good to see that LEGO seems to know that cutting ones nose off to spite ones face, isn't really a very good business model. Shame companies like Nike, Budlight, Mabyline, etc., couldn't see that but oh well!

There is a putrid odour that accompanies threads such as the one you mention @Boiledbeetle, people like us tend to come away from those threads feeling dirty and disgusted with the world, so we need somewhere we can just take a minute to remember that there are good things in life and that hopefully, being able to remember that will push us on to finding ways to combat those who would harm children.

Thanks @Boiledbeetle I didn't even notice my own birthday - hmmph. Probably because it was raining, grump - now that means I'll have to give everyone cake I suppose... I'm not wearing a hat though

Why is there knobs in the cake? I'm imagining door knobs in cake. Definitely not good for the teeth. No matter how many apples you put in it to make it healthy.

Hope you're LEGO VIPs? it's always possible that the cost of Dobby will put you in range of picking up a small but fun freebie. You never know. Sorry I don't know the exact date of release of Dobby, there are some other new HP sets coming out too afaik

Yes I'm a VIP but rarely buy from LEGO unless it's an exclusive set.

Dobby will be £40, out in June apparently.
Not very big but not expensive to get a free gift.
Plus it will end up below £30 elsewhere quite quickly.
