Violent assault at California school.

This is video footage of a male student, who says they are a transwoman, viciously attacking female students. The attack was allegedly provoked by female students objecting to the trans student using the female changing rooms.

There is little verified information at the moment apart from the video footage but further down the thread there are some screen shots from messages sent about the students behaviour in the female changing rooms. If the messages are accurate then it would seem that this is not the first time this student has behaved with violence.

TRA's still don't seem to understand why women want single sex spaces.

The video is just a rabble without context. No evidence of the claim you made.

MerlinsLostMarbles · 27/04/2023 22:31

IMHO, by the noises the person makes at one point they may potentially be having a mental health breakdown or episode.

Cailleach1 · 27/04/2023 22:34

Shouty, violent teenage boy. It was lucky the other teenage boys were there to try to restrain him. I wouldn't like to be in a space with him without that, or have teenage girls vulnerable to his violent rage.

Fair enough it might not be the reason but it is not just a rabble it is a male violently beating up a female.

That is never acceptable and needs to be called out and not then tried to be waved away with "but mental health".

Are you disputing that a male student violently attacked at least two female students and one male student?

Why would anyone make a claim about the gender identity of that student if it was just a violent bloke?

Please keep me updated if you can find alternative information.

"Why would anyone make a claim about the gender identity of that student if it was just a violent bloke?"

The Twitter account making this claim is called "genderisharmful" and have provided no evidence. Hardly credible IMO.

FOJN · 27/04/2023 23:01

Gender is harmful, it attempts to squeeze everyone into boxes. Just because you are OK with that doesn't mean the rest of us want to embrace such restricted lives.

Its male violence however that student identifies, do you have anything to say about that?

Boiledbeetle · 27/04/2023 23:43

It didn't happen and even if it did it wasn't that bad! And if it was that bad mental health blah blah blah!

FFS!

Datun · 28/04/2023 00:05

Thank god those other boys/men pulled him off.

Pixiedust1234 · 28/04/2023 00:23

The out of control rage is real. And its male based.

This tweet was on the schools twitter account

They seem a, ahem, conservative bunch and are trying to organise a protest. In the thread below someone is defending 'her' claiming 'she' was bullied.

The school have limited replies on Facebook.

Seems likely to be a vulnerable individual. In the film he did seem to have lost control. What a shitty situation.

My hear goes out to these poor bloody victims, youngsters who have been led here by evil people with ulterior motives. Shame on anyone going along with all of this.

My heart goes out more to the poor females having to suffer the consequences. They are physically weaker and have done nothing to deserve being treated like this going about their day to business.

These are all children who should be learning and enjoying their lives.

Well the young women he was attacking looked pretty vulnerable to me! Don't they matter?

IcakethereforeIam · 28/04/2023 17:09

He didn't hold back at all! He's a menace, she could have been seriously hurt. It appears (taking everything at face value) this wasn't out of the blue. I hope she's okay. I hope the school takes steps, which they probably should have already, to stop this. He should face charges, he might have mitigation but that no excuse for him and the people enabling him instead of helping him. Failure to safeguard anyone.

Florissante · 28/04/2023 17:22

The individual in question needs to learn to control their anger.

ResisterRex · 28/04/2023 17:22

There are lots of accounts showing this video and there's an update from the first tweet linked here, to say that Riverside is where the board meeting will be. And that the school is King High.

I was half expecting to scroll down and see what I've found being used as a desperate gotcha. It isn't.

But as it turns out, those who come here to denounce things based on the name they don't like of a Twitter account, can't even be arsed to do a bit of their own searching.

dimorphism · 28/04/2023 18:02

Well that certainly shows why women - so much smaller - are not safe if on their own with violent males. He's so much bigger than the girls, and that's before you even get to the strength advantage.

Video footage like this, a bit like male sportsmen competing against women, really makes the argument for women needing single sex spaces / competitions without a single word needing to be said.

CreationNat1on · 28/04/2023 18:29

Seems like he has been expelled. Hopefully he will get the care that he needs.

CreationNat1on · 28/04/2023 18:30

And hopefully his victims will too.

Faffertea · 28/04/2023 19:58

I do wonder how many of those who shout “mental health” as an excuse for violence have spent much time with people with mental health conditions.

Those of us that have and have experience of patients in high security locked psychiatric facilities know that this kind of aggression in this concerted attacking fashion (as opposed to lashing out at people who get too close because they are distressed and confused) is pretty uncommon and most often seen in those with personality disorders (like narcissistic PD and other Cluster A disorders) which seems oddly common in people claiming trans identities.

It’s much more likely that a person with a mental illness will be a victim of violence than a perpetrator and these “But, Mental Health!!” cries do nothing to improve the situation for the genuinely vulnerable.

Quite an image:

According to speakers, a violent male is using girls' bathrooms

An educator(?) asks the school board not to be distracted by "transphobic language" as a woman holds up sign saying "Stop allowing biological men parading themselves as 'women' into women's spaces"

Beginning of his speech can be found at 3:22:40

This clip is queued up to the beginning of the speech of the woman who as holding the sign 👇

This is queued up to a part of the video where 3 students speak.

The last student asks why the male students' violence is being recorded as person-on-person violence instead of male-on-female violence.

In a prev. meeting a Student Board Member responded to concerns that existed at the time by admonishing parents for not respecting the male's gender ID, lamenting that the fight may hinder progress, & emphasizing "the girl who is transgender is a woman"

CreationNat1on · 28/04/2023 21:03

Shocking, the bathroom law and self ID needs to be overturned globally.

CreationNat1on · 28/04/2023 21:05

Just as an aside, my sons go to a school of approx 1000 students. I asked them today if any of their friends are trans and they said no. I asked were there any trans students in the school, and they said one that they were aware of.

It's an all boys school in Ireland.

It is social contagion, that the numbers are so dramatically different in different parts of the world.

CreationNat1on · 28/04/2023 21:06

None that they were aware of.

IcakethereforeIam · 28/04/2023 21:19

Something that occurred to me, I believe people have received massive payments for not being permitted to use the toilets, changing rooms, etc. that match their trans identity. The school is likely vulnerable to a lawsuit, especially taking into account the state's laws. I'm not suggesting this might motivate someone to say they were trans and then behave as obnoxiously as possible.

Incidentally, picture of the brave and articulate girl holding her sign. She's the one on the left.
