I look forward to police being called and a crack firearms team storming the Metro's offices to root out the transphobic bigots who allowed this horror to appear in print. Imagine the literal violence done to innocent Metro readers coming across a crossword clue that excludes trans people. The NHS in Brighton in particular must have been stretched to the limit dealing with the crisis.

Oh, this reminds me of my 9yo filling in a crossword in her Christmas puzzle book last year. Clue: female gender. She'd filled in 'woman' already before she brought it to me for help. I felt so proud of her. But I couldn't make the other answers fit in around it until I realised it actually said 'female gander'. 😆

If it's in the Metro, surely the answer is DUNNO.
