Labour's Issues Survey 2023

I had this survey come through my door the other day, having been a paying member of the Labour Party in the past.
Keri Starmer will be driven by dove missions if he wins the next election and he wants our views.
There are eight questions where you are to choose the options that are most important to you. Nowhere does it say anything about women's rights, the sex and gender debate or anything like that.
So, seeing as they have provided me with a postage paid envelope in which to return my completed survey, I have declined to answer any of the questions and instead have written "IF YOU DON'T RESPECT MY SEX, YOU WILL NOT GET MY 'X'. WOMAN = ADULT HUMAN FEMALE.

Childish? Maybe. Will it go straight in the bin when their computer can't read my answers? Yes. A tiny act of rebellion nonetheless.

Not childish. If enough people do it Starmer can no longer lie and say nobody is talking about it.

TinyRebellion · 26/04/2023 10:20

Argh! 'dove missions' should read five missions!

Well done, Tiny! I hope more members do likewise.

I think that's mainly why I did it. The lying. I can't bear it. I always voted Labour before and it hurts not to, but I won't until they start telling the truth.

I hope so too Babdoc!

Simply because I didn't have that link.

There's no pre paid envelope with the online link but there is a handy QR code at the bottom of the document.

Before I posted this thread I had already sealed the envelope and recycled the accompanying letter, so I had no access to links or QR codes or I would have shared them.

I know, I'm not judging you!

Thanks for flagging this OP and other posters for the teamwork.

Pluvia · 26/04/2023 12:14

It's all there if you google.

Thelnebriati · 26/04/2023 18:46

I've no idea why you are being s snippy. To google you'd have to know it exists, which we do now thanks to TinyRebellion.

Pluvia · 26/04/2023 22:12

It's a waste of time if someone posts about a petition or a survey and then fails to provide the information in order for others to be able to easily find it and complete it.

Gosh you’re coming across as incredibly rude. I presumed, as I think @TinyRebellion did, that she’d been sent a survey because she was a past member of the Labour party.

TinyRebellion · 26/04/2023 22:44

Yes @LizzieSiddal I simply posted to say what I had done with something I received through my door that I thought lots of other people would also have received. I was interested to see if anyone else would say they'd also received it and if they'd filled it in or done something like I did.

Thanks to those of you who haven't been rude, sorry for not googling for a link I didn't know existed and apologies to @Thelnebriati for misunderstanding your post about the QR codeFlowers

Oh ffs, I'm a battle-scarred old lesbian — being called rude is the last thing I'm going to worry about.

Those of us who've been promoting petitions and surveys and other join-ins here for years can all attest to how much more effective a response you get if you provide a link and make it easy for people to participate.

I wasn't promoting a survey nor expecting others to participate. You're clearly ignoring my subsequent posts. I won't bore you with my background but I felt good about starting this thread yesterday. It's a shame your posts have made me feel very small.
