I caught stig Abel interviewing someone from gender intelligence this morning.
Stig Abel gave them a very easy ride, they avoided answering the questions and just spouted their usual word salad.

I should have said this was on Times Radio. Which in my opinion seems to be sympathetic towards the gender woo woo than the paper who take a more critical approach.

Stig mentioned to ‘assigned sex at birth’ without question which scientifically surely is wrong. Gender intelligence person said we have to follow the science.

Times radio have fi glover and Jane Garvey who both appear to be so far up the trans they are competing which each other to be crowned the best tans ally.

I suppose personalities are more at play on the radio.

A really interesting article. Thank you for sharing.

This seems like an incredible sensible and respectful approach. It includes:

  1. safeguarding - an understanding that a child who is changing their pronouns and name in respect of a gender identity is vulnerable
  2. dignity - all children will be afforded the dignity to use the toilets and changing facilities that have been created as spaces for use by members of their biological sex or will have a choice to use a neutral single occupancy facility if they do not feel comfortable doing so
  3. personal safety - ditto re point 2.

Single sex spaces were initially created with a combination of dignity and personal safety in mind. It's great to see this concept being pulled back in to policy making.

*incredibly

Thank God, our daughters deserve the dignity and safety of single sex facilities.

AmuseBish · 26/04/2023 12:20

Schools will be told to bar children who want to change their gender from using lavatories or changing facilities of the opposite sex under new government guidelines.

This is a weird leading sentence - it's not just 'children who want to change gender' who are barred from using opposite-sex facilities - it's all of them... right?

So 'Schools will be told to bar children from using the opposite-sex facilities, including those who want to change their gender' would be more accurate.

Encouraging, but I'll wait to see the wording of the guidelines.

The article mentions single cubicles that open to corridors rather than unsupervised spaces. What is this referring to specifically with respect to safeguarding?

Also what is the legality around mixed sex cubicle design? Must they be floor to ceiling? Must they have a basin? What about sanitary disposal?

Some legal aspects are covered here:
