Absolutely scary - she was saying there is no recourse for detransitioners over there because the legislation basically says they or their parents agreed to everything so tough luck.

I find this difficult to believe. There must be limitations in law if 'consent' was achieved by lying which arguably in this case it would have been e.g. the lie puberty blockers are reversible for example. At best we don't know. The lies about suicide. I hope there's a class action lawsuit coming in the US.

I suspect the bit about the law was what this brave whistleblower was told, but might not actually be true. She did say she was still 'deprogramming' from the permitted speech / thought of the centre she worked in.

It might well be true that they can't sue, I know Scott Newgent hasn't been able to and the pharmaceutical lobby is so powerful I doubt they would do what they are doing without having the protection in place

Wow just as Dr Frankenstein as we thought, many people involved in the medical side having huge egos and not caring enough to be concerned about the consequences for these children for decades to come.

11 yr olds walking in and getting treatment, without parental support which “we do it all the time” and no one keeping records while they pick their own therapist to “rubber stamp surgeries”.
