I love how Raquel expresses how fed up she is with Starmer’s stubborn refusal, over a number of years, to take dissenting women’s opinions on board. I also liked how she pointed out that any position changes he’s made are because he’s been forced into them by negative media coverage or political events.

He may not mean to, but Starmer really comes across as a man who begrudges giving these dissenting 'uppity' women his support and attention.

Keir does no spend so much time discussing it. He spends more time thinking up ways of avoiding having this discussion.

Excellent article. Labour need to get a bloody grip. This issue will be their undoing at the next election if they don't. And that was blindingly evident to anyone with any understanding of politics some time ago.

And nobody is impressed by Keir's 'reasonable guy' fence sitting nor by his Blair-esque photos of him with his jacket slung over his shoulder. He is disingenuous, dishonest and thoroughly devoid of any original thoughts. He just makes vacuous statements drafted by SPADS who are frightened of upsetting any of their target demographics.

He's just another plappy-faced twit.

I bumped into Raquel unexpectedly on Sunday. I was grateful for the chance to say thank you to her for her bravery. What a great young woman. And a good article as well.
