Idk man, it's just kind of an issue for me when someone with the platform of followers Dylan has is pushing for children to be able to medically transition, multiple companies use them as a sponsor, and when women voice their opposition, we're labelled petty, trolls, pathetic, scumbags, terfs, screeching, the list literally goes on and on.
The mountain of names JKR is called and threats she receives are a prime example of the response.
The main issue for me, is Dylan encouraging transitioning minors to the literal POTUS.
The rest, the "performance" of his desired gender verging on being offensive stereotypes is just icing on the cake that makes my eyes roll from the sheer over the top-ness of it.
If Dylan had had breast surgery, I'd probably be a bit less bothered re; Nike specifically, because then at least there's a reason for a sports bra sponsorship.
But I still wouldn't be happy about it because of the type of political statements Dylan promotes.
Minor's can't consent, I don't think anyone who suggests they can should be a sponsor of, well, anything at all tbh.
For clarity that this is about "message" and not simply because Dylan identifies as trans. In my mind, the same also applies to Daniel Radcliffe and the things he's been coming out with lately.
