Found in today's "Australian": Catholic event cops ban over trans view. In brief, a Catholic intellectual group (The Christopher Dawson Centre for Cultural Studies) usually holds its annual colloquium at the University of Tasmania's Jane Franklin Hall. This year the booking was cancelled "out of concern about an advertisement for the event titled "Wokery and How to Deal With It".

"The advertisement included the claim that "elites" were undermining "objective truth " by teaching in schools that "girls can boys, that boys can be girls, and that grown-ups should be punished for denying it.""

I can't link to the article (it's behind a paywall) but I can link to The Christopher Dawson Centre's response to the cancellation:

How ironic - adults meeting to discuss how adults are punished for denying GI are punished (presumably for denying GI)

Yes. I'm going to take a good look at some of the links - the feminist site in particular, but there are some fascinating takes on the subject from a variety of viewpoints.

I also find it fascinating that Jane Franklin Hall cancelled the colloquium specifically because of the organisers' views on trans ideology. It seems that trans ideology is one dogma that must never, ever, be questioned in the slightest degree.
