Seriously, what the actual fuck? A group set up to discuss the plight of Afghan and Iranian women and it's cancelled because TRAs don't like a speaker at the event. If ever an example was needed as to how horrifically self-absorbed these people are, this has got to be it.

There's not a single feminist issue that TRAs don't attempt to appropriate or disrupt campaigns for.

Next time a faux naive thread appears scolding feminists here to be kinder and argue less, this is a great example of how "inclusive" feminism can never help actual women.

I wonder how many French feminists are too scared to speak out in case they lose their positions. Surely they can see the dangers here, didn’t they learn any lessons back in the 70s and lowering the age of consent ?

Wow. How do these people even decide to this? Do they sit round a table and solemnly discuss the issue, how in Iran and Afghanistan women are being beaten to death, imprisoned, subjected to physical and emotional abuse, denied the freedom to study, to work, to travel, to wear what they want , to speak out about their oppression both in public and on private forums, and come to the conclusion that actually, it is all about them and their hurt feelingz.

And the absolute irony of it being in France, where the symbol of the country’s equality is a woman. Maybe she needs to be replaced by a man in a dress.

Fuck me. I thought I reached the summit it 2018 but every day there's a new outrage. Hopefully these should set the French on an upwards adventure.
