I wouldn't get too excited as female includes men with GRCs. I'll celebrate when only biological sex is relevant.

Have you read the news about the recommendations from the EHRC which says sex and gender shouldn't be conflated...

Those under 18 - ie the school children this DfE clarification applies to - cannot get a GRC. It's irrelevant to this good news.

Good news - as children can't get a GRC the numbers would be miniscule - the odd yr 13 maybe.

It's a relief to finally see facts and science being restored - but there's still a mountain to climb.
