Complaints about a TW who plays on a female team in Australia. What is also interesting is the last section which seems to suggest that TW may be allowed to play in the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand in July and August. Does anyone know anything about this?

Trans woman dominates women's soccer league in Australia

Angry parents fed-up with a trans woman's domination of a female soccer league are campaigning to have all trans-women booted from the competition.

Well, FIFA is lauding Australia's policy on transgender players in elite competitive football. Dated April 2023

"Football Australia has made a bold move to include transgender and gender-diverse individuals in elite competitive football."

Perhaps that's more ..."that's a bold move..." said with raised eyebrows.

I do want to highlight that at the moment, there is a very limited financial incentive for men to identify as trans women so they can play in a women's professional team in the UK and the rest of Europe

Men not good enough for the male team have the incentive though.

Exactly. There are literally millions of men and school boys around the world who would walk into a women’s professional team, and for whom 400k per year would be a huge incentive. It’s certainly possible one male out of several million will be unscrupulous enough to try this. Just recently a man in Kenya did this to enter a women’s chess tournament for a relatively meagre amount of prize money, so doing it for a very well salaried career is almost certain to happen at some point.

Women's football is gaining viewership live and on the screen at a high rate. DAZN says the viewership of top women's games is on par with their viewership of La Liga games. This will bring money into the sport making it better and in turn the increase will continue.

There is very much an incentive for a failed male footballer to try it on as a woman footballer. And even if 99.9% of them are honest, there are thousands who wash out of the various clubs' academies.
