some of my friends do and even feel the same although we only talk about it in whispers in public
but I now need to let the rest of the world know

I am by all definitions a terf

I do not believe that transwomen should share womens intimate or safe spaces
I do not believe that lesbians should just give girl dick a try... they may like it
I do not believe biological men should be in womens sports
I do not believe we should be mutilating children
I will not refer to my self as cis anything or wear a pronoun badge

the lgbtq and some ethnic minority groups have reclaimed their slurs and we should do the same

trans exclusionary radical feminist...

do I wish to exclude trans women or predatory men pretending to be one from single sex spaces enshrined in law... yes
am I radical to think this (apparently so but who knew)

so I am now an out and proud terf.

now do I hate trans people.... no. If they want to campaign for safety against male violence, third spaces and the like then hand me a placard and I will join in with them however I do not believe it is right that 51% of women lose their rights to appease the 0.1% of men who want them for themselves. If that makes me a terf then fuck it - I will wear that badge.

I have been guilty of excusing my terfdom when getting into arguments with people on social media. The whole - don't think I am a terf type apologetic behaviour. No more. If they want to call me a terf then I will take that badge

The TERFworld seems a very lonely place when you gauge how unfree people are in speaking up, how wide institutional capture has been, and how many people seem totally lost.
But once you make the decision to stop, set out your stall, step off the careering clown bus that's on fire with a drunk at the wheel, and decide to wait for the next bus to come along, not aflame and with a competent driver, prepared to wait all day if necessary, then you're at peace with yourself.
I truly believe this is the way fwds for all of us Terven. To realise that we can rely on ourselves, and that's the first battle.
Me? A shedload of CBT has got me to this place, no bitterness, just a focus on what's right. And a resolve to now stick to my guns, go to LWS events where possible, write to my MP, engage all the time with people about the things that matter in this realm.

I thought I was a lone terf, until I started trying to very carefully gage other people's opinions.

Turns out most of my friends and colleagues are GC, just afraid to say anything in case of getting the sack from work/witch hunted etc.

The tide is most definitely turning.

I'm quite happy for men to wear dresses and make up, change their names, do whatever.

But you're NOT an actual woman, so get out of single sex spaces. It is not possible to change sex.

No penises in women's toilets, changing rooms, hostels, prisons...anywhere single sex.

Do I care if I am called a terf? No. Do I care if I am called a bigot? No. Do I care if I am called a transphobe? No. Do I care if I am called Cis? Bloody hell, yes. Call me one at your peril.
