I didn’t see a thread on this, but apologies if there is one already. Today in the New York Post, I saw an article about Avi Silverberg, a TransWoman. It shares how Avi broke the Canadian lifting record previously held by another TransWoman Anne Andres. We are seriously being trolled at this point.

The video on instagram that Anne Andres posted is so telling.
"Maybe my participation isn't necessarily fair... I mean, science, whatever" was so flippant, like they were digging deep to excuse themselves, and going on and on about how people loved them being there because of how kind and happy they were. No, these women DON'T love you being there!!! You're taking their titles and hard work away from them by simply being male!

I imagine it's harder to cheat against your own sex!

The sour grapes from the previous record holder !

Some of them do seem to think that only they are special and allowed to break the rules, but other people should know their place.

It reminds me of the recent MN thread about a transwoman freely going into a women's toilet and being shocked and offended to find another transwoman in there! He was quite open about it that the only point of using it was to do so alongside natal women and presumably get off on their resulting awkwardness and fear.

Almost like he doesn't actually believe that TWAW..?

Almost like he doesn't actually believe that TWAW..?

Quite. That transwoman sounds like an appalling transphobe - which we all know is literal violence towards such a vulnerable group.

you can't keep a good (wo)man down... apparently Ann Andres has broken some minor (eg unofficial and/or age group) lifting records. Note the small plastic dinosaur she carefully places on the podium next to her.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if this guy could get all of the other male competitors to agree to temporarily 'self-identify' as TW and then compete in the women's competition, leaving all of the female competitors to then 'self-identify' as TM for the day and have an all-female 'men's' competition!

Of course, that would all be utterly ridiculous, as opposed to....

For a long time now I've though that if males are allowed to enter women's events why don't all the women join the men's event?
Once one male is in there they have a huge advantage against women. Women may as well join the men's race en masse. The special snowflake now competes alone. It's clear to everyone why the women joined the men's event. It draws even more attention to the unfairness, and it would get loads of press.
I'd do it wearing one of those novelty Groucho Marx plastic glasses, fake nose, and fake moustache all in ones. If anyone asked why I'd tell them off for questioning my true authentic identity. Can you imagine a bunch of women in a men's event being interviewed on TV "What's going on here then?" trying to keep straight faces as they answered. Shine even more light on the absurdity of it all.
It seems now sport is heading in the right direction but there was a time when I felt this was the way to go.

Women joining men's events would be last anyway.

The best stance is the women who refuse to join a man on the podium. Deny them their moment of glory.
