This transwomen was previously anon, has now “spoken out” on a be kind styled podcast interview. Lexi was an average men’s team player but now wants to join the women’s state team competitions and then play for the Opals national team.

Lexi’s age is strangely not mentioned nor Lexi’s height, both very common reference points in sports coverage, especially for an unknown player. Lexi says Lexi transitioned “during Covid”, so that may have been 2 years ago or 2 months ago.

Lexi is waiting to hear if a tribunal will let Lexi join a senior women’s team, these potential teammates are dropping the be kind lines but I wonder if that will change if Lexi and other players with Lexi’s suddenly competitive skill set start playing en masse. Andrew Bogat is the voice of reason so far.

Once again that article contains a lie. Lexi says he thought he’d have to give up basketball when transitioned. Why? Why does no one say to him he can continue, as a man.

It can be pointed out to Lexi that WtoM continue to play in women's sports, but they never go to the media whinging about being allowed play sports with men.

Just to update...Ruling has come through that Lexi is not allowed play in the women's league Lexi was trying to get into.

The right decision. Of course Lexi says they will still aim to play in elite women’s sport “one day”. Just bugger off when you’re not wanted.

I am pleased that sports seem to be coming round to prioritising fairness and safety for women and girls. Changes in prisons and refuges etc. are also urgently needed now.

Lexi has the potential to seriously hurt the weaker women Lexi is playing against, let alone the whole cheating aspect. Lexi can do the honorable thing and fuck off and play with their same-sex group.

The player is not and never will be female.

Yes, that's the point my brain goes clang and I can't even process it any more.

If a male is identifying as female, then they are transsexual, not transgender: female is sex. They are identifying as being the sex they in reality are not. And they've taken gender and all the waffle right out of the equation.

And the straight forward answer is no. A cat isn't a dog, a tree isn't a star, up isn't down, and female is a biological fact not a really fantastically offensive wish in a male's head that stomps all over female people's realities.
