As I read on Twitter, only a man gets a letter from the Whitehouse congratulating them on 1 year of being a woman!

Whyyy why why is this important enough for the Dems to concentrate on, while we have a war going on, massive climate crisis coming, a pandemic still effecting ordinary people, a huge political crisis with regards to Trump et al, Roe vs Wade, and so forth? WHY are they paying attention to males in schoolgirl outfits?

When the Mulvaney videos first starting coming out, I remember very deliberately not commenting on them because they were obviously a parody. No one could surely believe they were real?
Iirc the first ones were all about being allowed to overspend on clothing and being scared of bugs now that they were a 'girl'.
It was as if someone sat down and wrote the most sexist version of girlhood they could think of, and then completely hammed it up with acting it out.
But it slowly became clear it wasn't a parody and Dylan isn't actually playing some massive joke on everyone.
So, I don't know. I genuinely fail to understand how even a very stupid person can see those and not immediately notice how mind bogglingly sexist they are. And even the White House is fawning over them? Couldn't they find a not-sexist trans person to pat on the head and wheel out to show how progressive they are?
We're in bizarroland.

Obviously, I can only guess at what is in DM's head, but my impression is that he is a grifter. He's just responding to what pays, and probably can't believe his luck. I doubt he has got any consciously sinister agenda - I'm not saying that to defend him - I just don't think it's thought through like that. He's not like Jeffrey Marsh, he just wants cash, with a side order of social media likes.

What is absolutely gob-smacking is the fawning and the fact that the fucking president and VP of the USA are taking him seriously. It's that that is beyond parody. It's every Republican strategists' dream come true, especially now that DM is dressing as a child (the latest videos ape a beloved US children's book character, Elouise).

Someone either on here or on Twitter mentioned Mulvaney’s ‘The Price is Right’ appearance (pre-the magical ‘365 days’ obvs) so I googled. It’s all there bar the dresses, knee-socks, make-up and hairdo. All the gushing, screaming, skippy, hand-clapping hysteria. I’ve no idea what’s really going on but it’s guaranteed that all the attention is focused on DM 100% of the time and that’s what DM wants and craves.

I think that Joe Biden is every bit as bad for America as Donald Trump was I just happen to be more politically aligned with some of Joe Biden’s views. He has been a terrible president. Democrats are slowly making themselves as unelectable as the Labour Party in the UK has seemed determined to do. They have decided in many facets that they are morally superior to the mere voters who elect them and as such have completely lost touch with the electorate. It is pure hubris.

I've lived and worked in the US and am currently working on a long term project with a California-based team. I'm old-school left wing (free speech, gender critical) and it's been very interesting to see their usually militant support of the Dems worn down by this insanity, even in the face of Roe v Wade.

These are liberal, media-type people, mixed backgrounds/races, but they've been pushed to the point where they don't believe anything the Dems say anymore. When the Dems do follow through, it's to promote things they don't want like gender nonsense (which poll after poll shows Americans don't want) or a complete lack of policing resulting in massive homeless encampments outside their front doors, instead of dealing with issues that actually matter. Maybe because I'm Brit, but they have been much more open slagging off the Dems in recent months.

I don't know what's going to happen but I'm guessing the Dems won't be in power much longer.

I am no Trump fan, I don't condone cheating and there should be no sacred caste.

I understand other than a speeding ticket with a horse and carriage on two days running - no President or former has been in trouble with cops before.

If Trump is arrested for a sleazy NDA, then aren't Dems like Clinton now in danger too for the sexual harassment with evidence on a dress available? Wouldn't the Biden administration (as Biden can plead he was abused and not mentally competent) be arrested for mass Munchausens by proxy and CSA by the next Republican President?
