Article with former governor of Cornton Vale saying trans prisoners often rediscover maleness after release?

I'm sure I read an article which reported the former governor of CV prison saying that she'd noticed a trend amongst released formerly trans woman prisoners, but for the life of me I can't find it. Have I made this up or has anyone else heard this too?

That's really interested to read - women who have lived it speaking out and some writing it and it being published. Would be even better to have a proper study. Surely with the time spent being 'watched' by (I think they are called) probation officers, it should be possible?

Reading that study... describing the 'prejudiced views' of 12/15 participants... and literally describing how the women who supported 'Rachel' spent time and emotional energy supporting with their transition and making them feel ok... only to find they'd reverted to male presentation on release. Feeling like they'd been used. Which they had, by Rachel but even more by the Prison Service.

Fuck's sake, where is the analysis? Feminist would be nice but frankly any kind of overarching view of what women are coerced into doing for men, to their own detriment?

Reminds me of that time when a male applied to head up a women's rights unit in Corbyn's Labour and said he IDd as female at a specific time on a specific day...and he got the job!
This fellow subsequently revealed it was a gotcha to see how far Labour had sucked down the Kool Aid. And HE was then reprimanded, lol.
