That's what he said anyway, lol.
I hope it's true, it would serve him right.
Naughty Humza, allegedly.

I believe he was reported, but sadly the Hate Crimes thing is yet to be fully enacted (or some such...) so nothing further will happen. But it has been noted. 😎

Hoardasaurusterf · 18/03/2023 01:27

Oh the irony ! Hope it was a women’s group who reported him!😂😂

Excellent - I don't suppose that anything will come of it, but hugely entertaining anyway.

dropthevipers · 18/03/2023 01:37

surely if you buy into self ID, then questioning that is, de facto, transphobic?

TheBiologyStupid · 18/03/2023 02:08

Yes, but some people are entirely used to that level of cognitive dissonance it seems.

EpicChaos · 18/03/2023 03:19

@HirplesWithHaggis oh, that's such a shame hirples. Wouldn't it have been a marvellous instance of poetic justice, if he had been hoist by his own petard and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law that he was hoping to impose on other people. Still, at least his name is on ' the list'. :-D

@Hoardasaurusterf Yes, me too hoarda but whoever it was, is a legend, just a shame we can't thank them for the laugh :-D

@TheBiologyStupid It's always fun when you see zealots tie themselves in a knot, especially when the string was brought by the very same person. :-D

It most certainly is @dropthevipers ! It can't just be one rule for one and not for the other, that wouldn't be very equitable, would it? lol :-/

It would have been hilarious, yes. At least one film would have been made, probably a farce but definitely a comedy. May still happen, I guess, I do wonder how the history books will cover this bizarre period. Grin

Future generations won't believe it hirples, it's all just so ridiculous, that anyone in their right mind, would think it impossible that that anyone would be simple enough to believe the rubbish they spout.

The Yesterday channel won't know what to do with itself, lol.

As for a film, who would star in it, i wonder

they're as bad as Johnson and Hancock brazenly flouting lockdown rules, both Nichola and Humza have now overruled this poor lassie's right to self ID, looks like this is another rule that only applies to the little people 👎🏻

Thelnebriati · 18/03/2023 10:20

Is there an election coming up?

Simon Edge's satire The End of the World is Flat captures this kind of lunacy perfectly.

SinnerBoy · 18/03/2023 11:32

It's all gone a bit Matthew Hopkins for him, hasn't it?

IcakethereforeIam · 18/03/2023 11:38

Actually, why stop at Humza? Anyone who's questioned Isla's identity is wide open to being complained about.

He will have to burn his own legislation.

TheBiologyStupid · 18/03/2023 13:46

Will Peter Murrell's resignation make any difference to Humza's chances? Being the "continuity candidate" when the wheels are coming off can't be a good look and presumably there will be a lot of party members who are unhappy with what's been exposed?

AlecTrevelyan006 · 18/03/2023 13:57

I suspect that most people in the SNP never truly believed TWAW anyway - they just want to be seen as 'progressive'. They thought it would be an easy win for them and another opportunity to have a swipe at the Tories / English.

HirplesWithHaggis · 18/03/2023 14:10

Humza's already claiming to be the candidate for change lol. There are now calls for the leadership elections to be stopped and rerun.

SeatedDip · 18/03/2023 14:17

Those brave independence-minded members who've stuck out the years of fauxgressive shite as the party's been hijacked by New Labour-esque careerist drones and fringe-of-the-fringe Green nutters most likely never gave it much thought other than "yes, everyone should have human rights, agreed".

Then they were confronted by the reality of that decision by Adam Graham. And now the entire party's seemingly gone into tailspin.

Interesting times ahead for the SNP. But this was always going to be the outcome. I could see this coming at least 5 years ago.

CompleteGinasaur · 18/03/2023 14:17

There isn't enough popcorn in the world for this one.. In the past I've occasionally felt guilty for indulging in schadenfreude, but this lot make it absolutely obligatory.

OneMorePlant · 18/03/2023 14:31

This is amazing. I really hope a lot of women are paying attention and every time make a hate crime complaint against these politicians when they are trying to say twaw but not this one because reasons.

Let them feel the consequences of their poor decisions
