Growing up happy, heathy and whole is what most parents (the non-Munchausen kind anyway) want for their children.

Bringing your child up adhering to sexist stereotypes is harmful full stop. Cis and trans are two sides of the same gender loving coin.

We were supposed to be freeing people from gender restraints.

I think it must be quite hard for him, a man who has spoken about the loss of having his first child die in his arms, to speak out about an ideology that one of his child is enmeshed in. He's stuck between compounding the alienation that exists between him and this young adult child and speaking out about an obviously damaging ideology that must be affecting that child's brothers too. He also has two children who I believe are being partially raised with their mother's transwoman partner. So if anyone has reason to just avoid engaging with trans ideology, it's Musk.

Much as I loathe Musk, I agree with him on sterilising children. I find it hard to understand why legally competent young adults are refused sterilisation operations by doctors “because you might change your mind in a few years” but these trans children/teens are allowed - even encouraged - to render themselves infertile and anorgasmic.

I'd say sterilising yourself and cutting off your tits or dick would be a hell of a lot worse and traumatic than growing up "cis"! 🤨

This. Absolutely.

I always wonder why posters who are so anti women never engage in discussion around why it's so profoundly wrong to help and enthusiastically cheer lead along, a young person to medicate themselves, take experimental drugs and hack off working organs (often to replace with some skin sewn together as a pretend vagina).

Instead they like to clap themselves on the back as a reward for being so progress and call other posters bigoted and hateful.

It doesn't assume anything about growing up "cis", so it's factually incorrect to say that it does.

'Cis' is the term used within the gender identity ideology to refer to those who identify as their sex. It's a term within a particular belief system, one where all people are assumed to have abstract gender identities (gendered souls) which either happen to match their sex or not.

It's not a term that should be used to define those who don't believe in that particular secular religion and who don't believe that they themselves have an abstract gender identity.

And it doesn't really mean just a person who is not trans, because it excludes the vast numbers of people who are both not-trans AND don't have a gender identity of the type the gender identity ideology demands its adherents to have.

Perhaps it's time the TRAs gave Elon Musk the same treatment as JKR?
