According to today’s video on IG, homeless and vulnerably-housed women are the focus of London charity Glassdoor this International Women’s Day as in their words, “a third of the people we support identify as women”.

OK, not giving them any more of my money if they’re not brave enough to say ‘women’ when talking about International Women’s Day 😡

So 1/3 of people they help ‘identify’ as women, and a proportion of thos are men, so actually they are a charity which spends the vast majority of its resources on men. And they go out of their way to point this out. On IWD

I dont think it is a women's homelessness service.

This is just a crude attempt to hijack IWD to get money.

But cant help but mention a women's service provider putting on a Women’s Quiz & Karaoke Night for IWD to raise money.

There is a * beside women which takes you to this statement:

We are a trans inclusive space and welcome non-binary people who are comfortable in a women-centred space.

Nowhere do they have any statement or comment about how women might feel about this inclusivity.

And guess what, the service money is being raised for is a Rape Crisis Support Line.

And no, it is not in Scotland.

What? Ask the women if they are OK with men in their women-centred space? Yeah OK love! Shakes head. Wanders off muttering "women! Pft! Think their opinion actually matters?Pft! As if"

And fuck I was messing around last night with usernames.

Now I'm stuck for this thread.

For this thread I will have to seethe instead of Boil.

Seethe and cope Boiled. Seethe and cope!

BOILEDBEETLE😣

I mean, leaving aside the 'identify as' language, this is a silly choice of charity for International Women's Day*.

51% of the population is female. So why pick a charity where only 33% of the benefactors are women and claim it is for IWD?

*For the avoidance of doubt, I'm not saying the charity itself is silly - just the choice of it in this context.

Seethe and Boil - sometimes it seems that is all we can do.😡

Two threads have gone puff today. Trust me I'm seething and boiling. I'm not sure how much is age and how much is rage!

Why the fuck do middle aged men want to be women? Oh no they want to be young girls not actual middle aged grumpy menopausal bloody women!

Seeeeeeeeeeeethe.

This year will probably be the most manly IWD in history.
