"Rishi Sunak is considering launching an urgent review of “age-inappropriate” sex education materialss_ in schools, The Telegraph understands.
The Prime Minister has told multiple colleagues that he is alarmed about the content of Relationship and Sex Educationn_ (RSE) lessons taught in classrooms across the country.
This week, he was presented with a dossier of evidence by MPs showing that “unsuitably sexually explicit” teaching resources and lessons presenting gender fluidity as fact have been prepared for children.
The evidence, collated by the New Social Covenant Unit think tank, includes case studies of primary school children as young as nine being taught about masturbation. In other instances, the think tank found school children had been “indoctrinated” with contested gender ideology theories that could make them question whether they have been born in the wrong body.
Miriam Cates, the Conservative MP for Pennistone and Stockbridge, delivered the 130-page report to the Prime Minister on Wednesday and has urged him to consider a “public inquiry”.
“It’s becoming more and more clear how inappropriate materials are,” she told The Telegraph. “This is a very widespread problem.”
She said that the teaching of trans identification in schools has become increasingly common and could be contributing to a rise in the number of children seeking medical intervention, including puberty blockers and hormone treatment.
The report argues that a moratorium on aspects of RSE teaching may be necessary to “halt a widespread culture of safeguarding failure”. It raises concerns about the influence of third-party providers on RSE in schools."

The education unions will completely oppose this. They're all complicit, in the pockets of Stonewall and numerous other groups unsuitable to influence children. They've abandoned safeguarding in favour of queer theory activism and will now be petrified of facing the consequences.

HOWEVER, what this will do is (hopefully) is initiate an instantaneous school based review of their SRE curriculum. I suspect we'll find that some of the dodgy materials and individuals will suddenly be dumped rather than face formal scrutiny. There'll be "nothing to see here mate"

The secondary pack linked to a list of book recommendations provided by Diversity Role Models, including a book called ‘Beyond Magenta: Transgender Teens Speak Out’, which contained a first person account of performing oral sex at age six, with no suggestion that there was anything wrong with this.

And that teen was not born trans. That teen tried to identify out of being a child sexual abuse target.

Miriam Cates in the Telegraph today. She makes an excellent point to do with what would happen if adults were subjected to children's sex education lessons at work. When I have spoken to my MP in the past about this, I said I was worried about setting it out because of the graphic nature of it. In fact, some of it is so inappropriate that it would not be suitable for description before the watershed.

Nice little trap these ideologists have got us into, isn't it?

"Imagine you attend a training course at work. Your manager stands up and begins a PowerPoint presentation. He proceeds to show you and your colleagues a series of explicit images and graphic descriptions of sex acts that you might like to try. You are then asked to tell the group what you feel about masturbation.

Most adults would find this horrifying. If compelled to take part in this “training”, you may be able to sue your employer for sexual harassment. Yet this is a situation experienced by children in British schools in <a class="break-all" href="https://archive.is/o/1zvKa/www.telegraph.co.uk/opinion/2023/03/08/going-wrong-sex-education/" rel="nofollow" target="blank">Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) lessonss. And while some adults might be brave enough to object, children can’t walk out of the classroom or take their school to a tribunal for exposing them to distressing content."

This makes me think of when John Swinney was asked about some of the content being taught to kids in Scottish schools. The facilitator warned him that it was being streamed live to which he replied that if they felt it was too explicit to be streamed then why the hell was it being taught to our kids!!
