Not sure how many Mumsnet users are US-based, but since the latest video of a "drag show for kids" in the UK, where males in fetish gear twerk next to babies, it may well happen next.
Last week lawmakers in Tennessee voted on some bills regarding "Youth Gender", and the opposing political party used some ludicrous arguments to justify - no, to push for - drag shows, drag brunches and drag story hours for children.
Apparently making drag shows "adults only":
- is confusing, because "what IS adults-only?
- erases the existence of transgender people
- would get Beyoncé arrested
- would ruin the State's economy
