Is the tide turning? An anecdote

Students at my daughter's school chose Stonewall as the beneficiary of a fundraiser however the school has just announced it has decided to support a different charity instead because: "we have received some feedback from members of our school community, who have raised concerns about some of the campaigns in which this charity is currently involved, and about some of their educational resources".

I had quietly decided not to donate but I'm pleased like-minded people in my community did speak up.

Just in case there's someone on this thread that hasn't signed Maya Foresters petition, please can you sign. And can everyone please share, we're so close to 100k signatures but the deadline is looming... And obviously ignore the govt response, it's just nonsense!!

To update the Equality Act to make clear that sex is biological sex, not sex as modified by a gender recognition certificate,

Another anecdote, but I recently attended a school meeting about PHSE expecting to have to argue hard against genderist propaganda. Was very very pleased to find another mother had already done a lot of hard yards in arguing for factual content (thank you if you happen to be reading) and so the lesson plan was actually pretty OK. Certainly better than I had expected.

The parents who spoke up during the discussion were also 100% pro biology. Pleasantly surprised I was.
