Horowitz is the bestselling author of Alex Rider, Magpie Murders, Hawthorne etc. and has often spoken out against cancel culture. Now he has retweeted a gender critical account's video of a detransitioner (screenshot attached). Wonder if the woke mob are going to come after him now...

My daughter has just finished reading one of his books, "Eagle Strike," and in January, her Y5 went to meet an author, who she told me had written Alex Rider. He had a completely different name... I can't remember who. She's evidently got something mixed up!

Yes the Magpie Murder series is great too tho I am not sure if he's adding anymore to them. Hawthorne is going to be at least ten books I think! Which is great news.

That's good news. I wish more authors had as much courage.

I think people who are lefty liberal types in the first place (Rowling, Linehan etc) get the brunt of the abuse because their own fans turn on them. Whereas slightly more reactionary/ Conservative types (who do tend to be men) can get away with it.
