NHS England and Stonewall

They are doing an all staff briefing today, celebrating their placing in the Stonewall Diversity index. I despair. They are also including Stonewall in their restructure design team, to ensure that inclusivity is at its centre. How do we challenge this madness in an organisation that should be using evidence to guide its policies?

I would ask for the minutes of the meetings where Stonewall was chosen to assist with the restructure. Were ant other charities considered?

Use the adjective 'controversial' every time you talk about Stonewall in an email.

Ask what steps to ensure the celebration of other Protected Characteristics eg around race, disability, pregnancy, age etc are being taken?

Who's the current health minister? Write to them, chances are they have no idea this is happening. I would also copy in Kemi Baddenoch (she still has the equalities breif) and baroness Nicholson.
