I have completely lost track about those cases which have not yet had a judgement eg I think the mermaids v lgb alliance. Can anyone enlighten me?

Besides LGBA, I can't think of any. Maybe that's down it being too early in the morning still. The LGBA udgement is yet to come in.

There are cases of people being sued e.g. Graham Linehan, by the usual suspects and, not that it's a court case, but we're still awaiting the full Cass report.

Anything in Scotland? That's been busy of late.

Jo Phoenix ? Allison Bailey case is finished ?

PretzelKnot · 19/02/2023 08:07

Amy Hamm in Canada. I think this is still underway. What about James Essex? Sal Grover in Australia in Tickle vs Giggle- this has just had prelim hearings I think.

There was that male teacher(?) at a school, was he sacked or was it constructive dismissal? I think his case hasn't been resolved yet. I think the school was St. Paul's.

The social worker, Rachel Meade? And Sarah's case re. single sex groups at rape crisis.

Does Caroline Farrow have anything outstanding?

KJK has to report to a Police station on 23rd February.

DameMaud · 19/02/2023 16:55

And Rev Bernard Randall (Trent College) had his tribunal in September (?)

CryptoFascistMadameCholet · 19/02/2023 16:57

These things plod along painfully slowly.

SS from James Esses’ crowdjustice page:

(Can’t link due to crowdfunder rules)

Surely the Mermaids LGBA judgement can’t take that much longer?

@DameMaud I think Rev Randall must be the one I was thinking about, so Trent College not St Paul's.

Yes. Just did a quick look up Cake. Tribunal was September so would expect outcome soon.

This could be quite a year for all these case outcomes!

Maya Forstater remedy hearing next months, will finally find out how much this is going to cost her employer

CryptoFascistMadameCholet · 19/02/2023 17:14

I hope it’s a shit ton.

Need to send a clear signal that fashionable imported EDI policies don’t override British employment law.

I haven’t seen her schedule of loss, but hopefully it will be a tidy sum. So that employers will know it’s not worth the risk

Ramblingnamechanger · 19/02/2023 17:38

Thanks for reminding me that so many are still outstanding. Yes it will be quite a year. Best of luck to all involved, though when I say all you know who I mean…

Sarah here from the rape crisis court case. I am due to get a date for the hearing any day.

The last I heard it would take 60 days for the court to send the timetable and that was mid December.

CryptoFascistMadameCholet · 19/02/2023 18:47

Glacial pace!

Fingers crossed you get a date soon, Sarah.

TerfIngOnTheBeach · 19/02/2023 19:01

Isn’t that male period dignity officer in Scotland suing for sex discrimination or something.

IcakethereforeIam · 19/02/2023 19:44

Yes, he is. The consensus seems to be that it will be settled. The hope seems to be that it won't be. I've got 🍿on standby jic.

HereForTheFreeLunch · 19/02/2023 19:54

Women (and some men) discriminated against left, right and centre but people just want to pee, eh.

It's a good reminder of everything that's going on.

BordoisAgain · 27/02/2023 18:38

Ceri Black (femme loves on twitter) has posted an update on the bus stop actor who is suing her.

IcakethereforeIam · 27/02/2023 18:59

Good, I'm so pleased for her.

Thank you for the update.

DameMaud · 16/03/2023 14:08

Another update.
Rev Bernard Randall lost his unfair dismissal case against Trent College.
www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-derbyshire-64786856

IcakethereforeIam · 16/03/2023 14:45

Rev. Randall says he's going to appeal. I hope he does.

DameMaud · 16/03/2023 21:33

I hope so too Cake.

Gender a Wider Lens podcast has a really good interview with him (that's how I heard about his case) and the sermon that caused his dismissal is linked in their show notes under the youtube version podcast if anyone is interested to know more
