'During a recent interview, Absolutely Fabulous star and BAFTA-winning British actor Joanna Lumley said that de-gendered acting categories were “a bit weird” and could shut women out altogether.

“I know that if my name was just put up as best actor against lots of men, I wouldn’t have a chance,” she told TalkTV. “But as best actress, you might [have a chance].”'

She's a clever woman. It doesn't fool her.

Only ignorant young people are unaware of the perennial bias against women which needs constant counter-measures to prevent our slip back into second class status.

It’s Chesterton’s Fence. “Duh! Why do we need separate sex categories anyway!?! Stupid outdated things! Duh! Umblumb duh! Let’s get rid of them!”.

Come on Joanna, we've been waiting for you for ages... I'd like to see her hold Keir Starmer's feet to the fire like she did with the immigration minister regarding the Ghurkas!
