This just came up on my fb. Surely it should be sex equality?

Yes. The content looks sensible, but while 'gender' is being used in its correct 'cultural gendered roles' meaning, it'd be clearer if they used the term 'sex equality'. It's not like MN has any qualms about the word!

It's a bit more clunky, but the phrase "equality between the sexes" would be much better, given what's happened to the word 'gender'.
