One of the books (Welcome to St Hell) says puberty blockers are marvellous

Waterstones are fully aware and fully signed up to this but it is lived experience so that's ok:

To call breasts 'fatty lumps that need be gone' is just misogyny plain and simple.

This is truly shocking and I have written to Waterstones to tell them too. Such propaganda being paraded in plain sight. The interest that this book will gain for all the wrong reasons will add money in the pockets who wrote and published it.

What message are we sending our pre teen daughters?

how about the message of “love your body no matter what it looks like and don’t covert the impossible”

Quite a long thread on this in AIBU at the moment.

This is an adult with an agenda writing a self interested book in an attempt to gaslight children about the wonders of double mastectomies and sterilisation for teens via puberty blockers.

Waterstones should not be celebrating an adult attempting to influence children to believe that a lifetime of drugs and surgery will fix their teenage angst.
