well You see, there are new genders called rapist gender and child kidnapper gender. This is obviously not a true and honest transwoman, it’s someone belonging to one of the new genders so therefore does not count. The fragrant Nicola explained it all perfectly….

There has been a case in my local paper today. Referred to as a woman throughout. The picture taken outside court is... not of a woman. The acquitted person even seems to be going by a male name.

Comments are turned off, they have barely promoted the story. That seems to me they know what they have done and that it won't stand to scrutiny.

I'm still afraid to share the link on the off chance my eyes are deceiving me and it is indeed a woman 'pervert' who just got away with sharing child SA images. But is that really likely?

The person under the blanket in the photo quite clearly has red fingernails. Obviously a woman! Such blatant misgendering by auntie!

Sorry the person in court I referred to above was found guilty FWIW but was not jailed.

As long as the crime is recorded as being committed by a man, he is sent to a male prison if convicted, his victims are allowed to refer to him as “he” and the defence barrister doesn’t try and pretend that he is “a poor vulnerable women, far more vulnerable than anyone else in the history of the world ever, particularly his victims” I am fine with this.

Has anyone been advised of the correct pronouns for rapistgender and childkidnapgender? I wouldn't like to get it wrong and refer to them disrespectfully.

Transwomen are always men, that's the definition of them, men who identify as women.

You're missing the point. They are only not referring to him as a woman to avoid embarrassing the Scottish Government. They have reported such crimes in the past as women's crimes. Compare and contrast the assault charge at the demo in Edinburgh where the male perpetrator is referred to as a woman throughout.

I'm guessing this is a temporary expedient until the fuss dies down and sex crimes will once again be attributed to women.

So, let me get this straight. In the media:

Men who call themselves women are transwomen

• if they say they are
• if they are the victims of any sort of assault (physical/verbal)

But they are called / call themselves women

• if they are the perpetrator of a crime
• if they are claiming entry into a female only space

And men:

• if they are accused of a crime that can only or is typically committed by men (because unlike every other group in humankind, there are no bad trans identified people, ever, you hateful transphobic bigot)

I've hoping lots of people are peaking over the last few weeks stories.

Judging by the Sam Smith thread that was deleted earlier today, people are becoming less inclined to #bekind when it comes to applying ‘preferred’ pronouns.
