I could honestly cry at the amount on times on here when we try and discuss the problem of male violence, the NAMALTs pops up.
We KNOW not all men are like that, but male violence is a problem, TOO many males are like that, and that needs to be discussed. NAMALTs distracts from that.
A panellist on JV just now just piped up with the same when discussing the issue of a woman only being as safe as a man allows them to be. How blanket scorn of men is so harmful blah blah and to my shock, co-presenter Storm defended the need to discuss it, and NAMALT doesn't help, and quite eloquently too.
They moved on fairly quickly but it was good the point was made.
