She has been appointed Secretary of State for Business and Trade, but will keep the women and equalities brief.

As yet, no news on any the departments most relevant to this board eg Education.

Good. I’m sure there are those of my acquaintance who would have me tarred and feathered for the heresy of endorsing the Tory party, but I’m glad she’s in post.

That's a relief. She's the only politician able to stand in the way of clueless Keegan (secretary of state for education) who is currently screwing up the critical task of providing guidelines for all the captured schools

Fenlandia · 07/02/2023 14:06

Yes I wish she'd stand up to Keegan who's not exactly demonstrated much robust thinking on this so far. F-,must try harder.

That is a relief, she seems well informed about equality law.

MrsOvertonsWindow · 07/02/2023 14:20

A government spokesperson did say yesterday that Kemi was working on the guidelines which is such a relief. Someone with insight who centres safeguarding children and isn't captured by the toxic groups.

Keegan keeps Education 🙄
