Has ovarit always been so quiet?

I got an invite to ovarit and was a bit surprised to see it was not even half as busy as FWR is here on MN.

Did it used to be busier? I was a little bit disappointed tbh.

I feel like MN is quite a bit quieter than it used to be

FWR became very busy during lockdown so I suspect did Ovarit. I don't think fewer posters means lack of interest, I think it's a time factor. At least I hope that's the answer

I visit Ovarit several times a week to read, but don't have an account there to comment or upvote.

What's posted on FWR is generally more relevant to me, but Ovarit is (to my mind) what's left of the Gender Critical and Radical Feminist subreddits (RIP), which were responsible for getting me to the summit in 2018, so I like to drop in and get news from other countries/younger women

There's also far more places to talk about all these things now. MN used to be one of the only places women could discuss things - now there are plenty other groups and platforms.

We aim to make ourselves redundant!
