Saskatoon communal changing room with little girls

I just posted this in 'It never happens'.

Saskatoon, Canada

Saskatoon parents are protesting after a ma^ who identified as a female repeatedly walked around naked in the girls changing room during young children’s swimming lesson times at the Shaw Centre.

and

“A male that identifies as female was in the female change room and walking around completely naked. No towel, no underwear,” said a parent in a Facebook group.

The Shaw Centre staff told parents that anyone could use whatever change room aligns with their gender identity

and

The parents are considering going to the police and having the man charged with indecency.

So my take on this is that the parents complained (as per the article) and been told the policy of the swimming pool. That they even have to consider whether to go to the police with this is shocking to think.

(Note: I don't want this thread deleted for using 'man')

If this had happened to me or my sister when we were children my father would've reassigned him on the spot.

ArabellaScott · 01/02/2023 19:55

I'm wondering how the stats are on indecent exposure, recently.

Boiledbeetle · 01/02/2023 19:58

It's always the perverts that spoil it for everyone else.

They just can't play well with others.

Helleofabore · 01/02/2023 19:59

You are right Arabella. Of course, we know in some areas there may be a spike in females being recorded as exposing themselves….

Best they stay home and play with themselves.

I can't get my head around the fact that so many countries created new laws for a minority by apparently only asking for the activists in that group for their wish list and then fulfilling all of their desires, without ever asking the obvious questions I thought politicians always ask about new laws and rules and regulations, i.e., what are the ways this can be misused and which are the groups most likely harmed by the proposed changes and how.

The only answer I can think of is that as the negatively affected groups are mere females they can be safely ignored.

Truthlikeness · 01/02/2023 20:14

When I was a little girl, admittedly in the Middle Ages (also known as the 70s and 80s) NO-ONE would ever excuse me being exposed to a penis. I never saw an adult man's penis until I consented to as an adult.

Helleofabore · 01/02/2023 20:21

If you are so far entrenched that you think that males should use female communal changing rooms, you obviously think that the penis these little girls saw was a woman’s penis….

or maybe you figured some of those little girls had penises of their own….

I have done safeguarding training in several different settings. This is beyond a fail, this is criminal negligence. Exposing young children to a stranger's naked genitalia should see someone fired and charges brought. How can this be acceptable and institutionally condoned???

Is there any point going to the police? Has the adult human male committed any crime according to Canadian law? Isn't Canada full-on TWAW? The legislators, anyway.

A 17 year old girl who recently spoke out about a naked man in the locker room of a YMCA in California was publically likened to a 'creepy little voyeur.' I guess the TRA argument here would be that these little girls are voyeurs, or they should have stayed at home, or they should keep their eyes cast down in public. Whatever they come out with it will be about girls inhibiting themselves to accommodate men's freedoms.

And George Takei, he who played Sulu on Star Trek, tweeted that she should mind her own business.

WTF? A naked man in a women's locker room is absolutely those women's business. Are they just supposed to avert their eyes? If they did, he'd just walk round to put himself in their eyeline again, and we all know it.

Not to mention, it's her business who sees her changing!

I watched her testimony. She was so brave. It was heartbreaking.
