Fantastic piece of writing.

This:

Describes my workplace very accurately. Sadly, I don’t think those responsible will ever pay for it.

One of the comments said there should be a wall of shame with all their names. How great would that be - a wall where we can all go along with a sharpie and add a name!

Like this one which is an art installation at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art in Edinburgh.

But obviously much more witchy and colourful.

I am not sure excessive public shaming is the way to go as a) we haven’t won yet and b) what happened to ‘they go low we go high’?

Do I understand the desire to do it? You bet!!!

But it’s not public shaming. Because none of those people whose names are actually mentioned feel any shame whatsoever.

Superb. I felt lighter as I read it, as if useless rage was draining out of me. I’ll keep the productive anger it arouses, and use it.

Excellent. Very rarely post on Facebook but have shared this and give zero fucks if it ruffles and feathers.

Why? They aren't the ones persistently pushing a narrative in the way that Owen Jones, Stonewall et al are.

Granted, they are spineless twats willing to bite the hand that started feeding them, but they are pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. They are mediocre actors and superficial activists at best.

Note to self, they thought: "try and earn enough cash through churning out this utter shite so that I can afford a private female carer - a migrant woman on minimum wage will do! - to look after the aging women in my family so that they don’t get prodded by a bloke in a dress when they need intimate care." Because at such times, everyone knows what a woman is, and you don’t want a bloke who has just recently decided he’s called Samantha changing your own mum’s pads, do you? And no one really wants to read about that in the Lifestyle section of The Guardian, do they, readers?
