Interesting who knows the truth but from other comments I have heard the SNP has had a huge loss of members in the last month or so. It is already down heavily from its high point 7 or 8 years ago. Apparently there are big cash flow problems after the missing donations scandal too.

So an internal crisis over this spectacular failure is on the cards. I mean it is own goal after own goal. Even if you don't care about women deliberately creating legislation which is going to crash and burn is going to alienate anyone sensible in the party.
Their choices are bad either way. Go to court against Westminster which will cost a lot, keep this story in the news and eventually fail. Losing court cases against Westminister is not impressing anyone. Or accept section 35 and redraft legislation which admits the critics were right all along.
No way out situation. Great news for the fight against this nonsense.
It would be amazing if Ash could take over, but does she have the support? After all so many sensible members must have left. Even if she stands and fails it would be great burst of sunlight though.
