A BBC News headline today reads "No trans prisoners have attacked women, says minister"

Whereas in the body of the article it says:
"Justice Secretary Keith Brown has said there are no transgender prisoners with violence convictions against women in the female prison estate."

which I believe means something entirely different, and anyone just skim reading the headlines would wonder what all the fuss was about. I have complained to the BBC.

Yes, it is misleading.

We know that Karen White, for one, disproves that statement.

BlueBooh · 30/01/2023 14:08

Just complete and utter lies!

How do they get away with it?

BBC is completely corrupt.

We know that Karen White, for one, disproves that statement.

And the male prisoner who sexually assaulted FDJ, the female prisoner who brought an unsuccessful judicial review against the MOJ. I believe that prisoner had a GRC.

Zara Aleena's murderer had no convictions for violence against women. It didn't mean that he hadn't committed any violence against women though.

Quite, Clymene.

I was listening to Radio Scotland this morning and nearly threw my coffee at the radio when the presenter was talking to Glen Campbell about this: "really this is nothing to do with GRR but are we going to see those who can't leave the alone use it to try and cleave the matter back open" growl
