She was brilliant.

“I don’t care!” A very fitting statement today.

Germaine Greer famously said the same to Kirsty Warne when interviewed re Transwomen:

We need straight talkers.

It’s Germaine’s birthday today, I wonder if it was said in tribute? Either way, it’s just fabulous.

She was great. Plain speaking 'I don't care'.
I know her and Kellie Jay don't get on but they're similar in a lot of ways. We win with plain speaking. No men in women's prisons - that's it.

Sausagenbacon · 29/01/2023 19:01

Reminds me of Posie Parker's 1st appearance on Triggernometry.

Shitehound · 29/01/2023 19:18

WOW! Go Julie, that was incredible.

Askias · 29/01/2023 20:48

One thing I will never understand is why some women believe that if a man says he is a woman and wears a dress, that makes him safe.

MoirasSaggyBundles · 29/01/2023 21:11

Free Speech Nation is very good this evening, giving this extensive coverage in the opening speech and discussion.

Kate Coleman of Keep Prisons Single Sex is on, speaking about the SNP's total commitment to gender ideology, the abuse of process in pushing through the GRR reforms, giving background on the SPS guidance (with a suggestion that the thought process was that if you can push the very worst type of man into women's spaces, you can capture any institution), and speaking about other cases of men in women's prisons. She's absolutely brilliant.

Keep Prisons Single Sex

Also covering the transgender prisoner (murderer) claiming to be a baby.

Kevin Lister is also a guest - maths teacher sacked for not using preferred pronouns and questioning safeguarding.

Also an item on women's rights in Afghanistan.

Great programme.

Baffling isn't it.
Instantly become benign when they get lady feelz.

It does the opposite for me. How can you trust someone who tells such blatant lies?

Because they need to feel less vulnerable and cannot bear to take on board the fact that any man could pose a threat. That in one sense they are never safe. I always suspect unresolved SA trauma/threat of SA-related trauma in such cases. Caveat: no professional qualifications in this area, whatsoever. Just a hunch.

Ritasueandbobtoo9 · 29/01/2023 21:31

Thank you Julie.

Buffypaws · 29/01/2023 21:32

Was fab. My mum saw me watching it and agreed with everything. She’s peaked to fuck right now.

RudsyFarmer · 29/01/2023 21:39

That vides was just perfect wasn’t it. Good for you Julie. You nailed it.

TrollMunter · 29/01/2023 21:40

I think there is a misunderstanding by many people, that transwomen feel like women in all ways, i.e. they think like women, behave like women, that they are gentle people. Therefore they would never rape, expose themselves, threaten violence, and they have women's best interests at heart. We all know better.

I actually want to cry watching this. It's what we have been saying for YEARS and have been constantly demonized for doing so. This interview should be on BBC News, C4 News, Women's Hour. But it won't be. Why?

GB News have been utterly brilliant on this issue, platforming feminists that no one else would allow to speak. Also, the comments under this clip on YouTube are 100% in support of what Julie is saying. The vast majority of the public are behind us!

Mollyollydolly · 30/01/2023 01:07

Just wanted to echo how brilliant GBNews have been. All the people I see taking the piss out of GBNews go down in my expectations. I hope plenty of journalists watch some GBNews and think 'fuck we had this issue so wrong.' I hope they feel some guilt. Same goes for politicians.

RhannionKPSS · 30/01/2023 01:18

👏👏👏well said Julie
Remember that Julie donated a lot of money to Sarah who suing Brighton Rape Crisis Centre for refusing to provide single sex therapy.

CriticalCondition · 30/01/2023 11:48

Wow, that was inspiring. She is so clear, so firm. I'm going to be try and be a bit more 'Julie' in future.

Saltovinegar · 31/01/2023 08:49
