Fresh trans prisoner row as girl's stalker approved for move to women's jail in Scotland

It is understood prison chiefs have approved the move of Tiffany Scott, who stalked a 13-year-old girl while known as Andrew Burns. It comes after double rapist Isla Bryson was removed from an all-female prison when Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon was forced to intervene.

So much for safeguarding and risk assessments to make sure that no one was in danger hey..

I'm.assuming the prison they are transferring to has sufficient sanpro spies and no babies have died and no woman left giving birth alone in the cells due to staff shirtages and funding issues hefire money is spent with the extra observations etc needed with housing male inmates who pose a threat to the rest of the women?

There shouldn't be any but, how many is it?

No they won't. They will just find a way to detach this from anything trans related. So we have to accept anyones a woman who says they are a woman. But if that " woman" does anything bad then they get kicked out the trans box and cannot be tied to any process made ti make the lives of trans people easier.

Like the way trans people are allowed to be afraid of men in the mens loos but women being afraid of men is hysteria akd offensive

@DogShyte off the top of my head the official number in Scotland is 5 or 6, but the actual number is not known because anyone with a GRC is being recorded as their fictional sex.

Read up on the delightful “Sophie” (aka Daniel) Eastwood, a convicted murderer (with a record for violence whilst in prison) who also identifies as a baby and demands to have his hand held by staff when leaving “her” cell and have “her” nappy changed.

Probably self harm. He’s got form for biting his own wrists and then spitting the blood at prison officers.

He’s on an indefinite sentence because he’s so violent that he’s an ongoing danger to the public. I’m against the death penalty on principle, but people like him prompt me to think it would be better to still have it as an (exceptional circumstances) option.

The only point he’ll be released is when he’s so old and infirm that he won’t be able to attack anyone else. And for those multiple tens of years he’s inside a max security prison, he’ll be costing us hundreds of thousands.

Am I the only one who thinks Tiffany has been given the approval to move to the women's prison precisely because those in charge know this will highlight Sturgeon's bill for the reckless and damaging failure of safeguarding that it is? In other words some clever people at SPS are unreeling rope for Nicola to hang herself. Far better they do this than fight against it in quiet.

Sky News just used the pronoun ‘their” for this man which I suppose is a bit better than “her”. Sky and the BBC seem to have finally realised that they need to report properly on this - the BBC didn’t even crop the photo to just include the face which I bet they would have done until recently.

It's time to repeal the GRA, strengthen the single sex EA2010 and get the zealots and extremists out of our institutions.

From what I’ve read elsewhere, the risk assessment is overwhelmingly about the risks to the prisoner wanting to be transferred (including the “likelihood of self harm if denied”) and puts very little weight on the risk he poses to the prisoners (and female prison staff, let’s remember) he’s imposed upon.

If a prisoner identifies as a woman, the only assessment performed is the one developed for female prisoners. A TW is not, therefore, risk assessed according to THEIR risk to female prisoners, but according to THEIR risk as a “female” prisoner in a male prison.

Real women/female prisoners are the collateral damage when pandering to any and every male…

But, just the other day, the Justice Secretary, Keith Brown, seemed to be giving the SPS his complete trust. During answer to the urgent question, where he said women prisoners had been consulted on having tw moved into the female estate. Of course, words being what they are, he might not have meant the old-fashioned cunty sort of women.

I thought I had seen that the transfer had been approved but have just seen this. (Almost tempted to create another thread)
