We know there are transwomen already held in women's prisons on both sides of the border. The spotlight needs to be shone continually on this. This case-by-case basis situation is just not good enough.

There are five more males in the women's estate.

One of them is the one who demands nappies and to be led everywhere holding hands with a prison officer as they not only identify as a woman but also as a baby.

The public should know the full offending history and behaviours of the other four. And none of them should be in the women's estate.

This discusses the background of Sophie Eastwood, also at Cornton Vale currently. And some of the behaviours that Eastwood and other male prisoners have inflicted on women prisoners and staff in their time within the women's estate.

Who was that one who won all the gym competitions in prison? The women incarcerated with this person said there was no point entering any competition as they didn't stand a chance of winning up against the biological male. This was a few years ago and I remember thinking "surely not?" But it was true then and is still true now. Just bonkers.

Fewer than 300 inmates and 5 of them are men. There really is no escape is there?

Sturgeon should spend a night in the cell with each of them in turn.

“Tiffany” Scott slashed a fellow inmate’s face open with a razor - the wound needed 18 stitches and the victim is disfigured for life. He had to be restrained by ELEVEN security and prison staff while in hospital for scald treatment ( the injured inmate threw a kettle of boiling water over him) - because he was attacking nurses, ripping out drips and spitting at staff.
This is the man being considered for transfer to a female prison. There are no words.

At one time they were given a number and had to remember it.

And the prospect of that is awful.

However Sturgeon is an intelligent, educated, assured women with a lot of professional strengths and not a history of trauma, brain damage, abuse and marginalisation.

She would encounter a dangerous man on his best behaviour through each night, not only a man who would do all in his power to manipulate the image of being the victim and a harmless teddybear, but with all the natural strengths she has to manage the situation.

The women who are locked up with these men for months and years have none of this.

Oh my god. I had no idea they were forcing the female prison officers to rub these inmates down and perform intimate searches. I don’t know why my mind didn’t go there, only to the risk they posed to the other prisoners.

I was about to write I can't believe anyone would think it was a good idea to house Scott with women, but really noone should be subjected to their behaviour

Wowsers! How lucky have they ( tiffany ) been, that no one has slipped over on the blood, resulting in a sprained ankle/other injury, that has prevented them from attending to Tiffanys injuries before they've been beyond help. A major artery wouldn't take long to expel a significant amount of blood to the point of no return. They've been very lucky indeed! :-/

Would it be at all harsh of me, do you think, to suggest that, prison officers give the little rascal a cloth and a pair of rubber gloves ( i'm very kind, don't you think? ) and absolutely nothing else, including food, until such times that every last bit has been cleaned cleaner than a clean thing? After all, you can't eat food under those circs, it's not hygenic :-/

It's even worse, nappy guy is actually in the young offender estate. So 30+ yr old transwoman who insists on nappies, puréed food and having their hand held by staff when moving around outside the cell, is in with a load of teenagers.
