Just in case there's anyone on here who still won't watch 'Free Speech Nation' because it's 'horrible, bigoted GBNews' last nights episode was exceptional.

Julie Bindel, Sarah Phillimore, Dennis Kavanagh, Robin Moira White, Susan Smith from For Women Scotland were all guests.

I think there's a serious discussion to be had about why these nuanced detailed debates aren't happening on the BBC, ITV, Sky and Ch 4 news.

There's something very wrong somewhere. Is it just tribalism or cowardice? Or total lack of awareness? They're totally out of touch?

I used to work at the BBC and cant help thinking somethings gone very wrong somewhere.

Don't get me wrong there's loads of stuff I hate on GB News but 'Free Speech Nation' seems unique in what it's doing. Andrew Doyle deserves a lot of credit for this.

Just musing really how we got here ..

I watched Sarah P & Robin MW section. It was really interesting and as Sarah pointed out - these are the discussions that we should have been happening in the last 4 years. She was excellent.

Do all these organisations belong to Stonewall?

The question belong or belonged to stonewall? Good point. I think the bbc has left but it is still captured and in thrall yo the trans lobby.

I also really like Free Speech Nation and Andrew Doyle. The idea for me of choosing not to watch something on principle now seems naive and immature. It feels similar to refusing to consider principles or focus an argument/discussion with a person with whom one disagrees strongly on another issue. I wish people would be less tribal, and would consider arguments on coherence and merit in the round. Seems so unintelligent not to and so self destructive somehow.

Last week when the government said they would intervene with the GRR I was expecting an interesting Question Time. Only, the BBC decided instead to focus the whole hour on the NHS. I know the NHS is in dire straits, but the timing seemed very suspicious to me, whilst a constitutional crisis was unfolding.
