Not sure I'd want to be the next person in the studio having to use the desk and knobs after him. Blghhhhh. We know he doesn't just use his fingers to do things.

MorvenOfMalvern · 21/01/2023 00:05

The lyrics to the song he sang were vile
.
That's before you go near the flashing...

And yes, everything eod need wiping down, bleurgh.

Is there a problem with trans people being on the radio?
I am asking that in the spirit of genuine enquiry.

No. But this one has some "dubious" hygiene issues

FlamingoSocks · 21/01/2023 00:32

I’m not a fan at all but I don’t think the knob will be out on the radio (and tbf if it’s got to be out, radio is probably the best place…..)

Well i didn't think it would be out in prime time tv, but there it was!! Banging on the keyboard. So with this guy id be insisting on a full clean down before using the room after him.

When someone shows you who they are and all that.

But yeah radio is better than tv I think!

NotBadConsidering · 21/01/2023 01:01

No issue with trans people being on the radio. Very much have an issue with the BBC rewarding a male who exposed their penis to an audience unsolicited.

Although having typed that and knowing the BBC’s record with radio DJs it does make sense after all.

At least on the radio everyone will be well aware they’re listening to a male.

FrancescaContini · 21/01/2023 01:04

This is the man who got his penis out on live TV?

If he’d done that in the street, the supermarket or anywhere else in public, he’d have been arrested for indecent exposure.

Rainbowshit · 21/01/2023 01:20

This is the misogynist that thinks he makes a better woman than actual females?

Yep that's the one. Or at least one of the many who are of that opinion

This trans person yes. Trans people in general, no.

There is a massive problem with someone so aggressively misogynistic being rewarded with a platform on the BBC. Their gender identity is not relevant except for that was the entire basis of their song and dance on channel 4 (in which they exposed themselves and repeatedly handled their genitals on TV with no warning.)

I cannot comprehend rewarding such contentious and offensive behaviour that upset and angered so many people with a show on Radio 4. Especially knowing as I do, people who have grafted for years to get the smallest of a look in at the BBC : decades of leg work, grunt work, temp contracts etc and they're a million times more interesting and have genuine talent.

His YouTube comedy is actually pretty funny - he looks at the amusing side of being trans. I find it interesting that whenever he appears on radio or tv his comedy is different and becomes anti women. Is this what they think mainstream audiences want? A bit of humour about this subject would be good but I don't think he'll last long if he just makes it all about insulting women.

MorvenOfMalvern · 21/01/2023 09:06

I really hope that's not the basis for his show @Wellies54 !

With the lack of action on the House Of Commons behaviour, the court cases referring to rapists as she, the police revelations, the World Athletics decision..it's a hard time to be female!

Jordan's YouTube channel may be funny and he has history of being on the BBC when he was on The Voice (I was cheering him on back then).

But he's being rewarded for flashing on Channel 4. 🤔🤔🤔

Sure he'll have a strong TQ++++ following who'll defend his right to be 'body positive', ie do whatever the f he wants.

YouSetTheTone · 21/01/2023 10:30

Would they give Elaine Miller a show? Also a comedian.

Jordan gets his knob out and is misogynist: ‘hear you go! A programme!’

EM: stands up for women’s rights. Flashes a merkin.

BBC Commissioners pass out and need to be revived by a passing rainbow lanyarded they/ them with smelling salts at the very idea.

There's a problem with people using their trans status to utter misogynistic and sexist songs and flash their genitals, all in the name of "entertainment."

I thought the supermarket sitcom had promise.

The Channel 4 appearance left me firmly in the ‘No Thank You’ camp.
