^“She was five foot four, blonde, and always wore heels and a dress. It’s exactly what I wanted, and what I wanted to be. I think that’s some of the reason why I fell in love with her – I wanted to be her." ...Theresa died in January 2019.
Cherylin said: “She was only 54 when she died, and I thought life was far too short. I just had to take the wheel, which was my eureka moment. I spent that year knowing that I was no longer going to be Tony, I was going to become Cherylin, and throughout that whole year, obviously, I’m still grieving but also filled with excitement.^

How lovely for the three children of the marriage to know this is how their father felt immediately after their mother died.

Ah bless he's now got the same colour and haircut as his dead wife!

EndlessTea · 19/01/2023 18:25

This is really very disturbing. He obviously needs psychiatric help.

StillWeRise · 19/01/2023 18:29

you would hope, wouldn't you that no one would treat him while recently bereaved

Yes, instead of syndicated puff pieces in the media.

I’m thinking back to how I would’ve reacted if my dad had done this when my mum died. If we’d had a continued relationship, I would have been clear from the start “I will never call you mum”
