I have complained to the council about the removal of single sex toilets and was unsurprised to receive a very poor response. I'm in Scotland where the 2 stage complaint process appears to be the norm. So I looked up the database on the SPSO website, thinking there will have been a number of complaints about toilets in Schools, with resistant councils I assumed there would be at least some final decisions I could look up, I was curious what they said. But I couldn't find any on the database. So I phoned the number on the website thinking this was curious and unless I misunderstood (there was a shift in tone when I mentioned what the issue was about) it seemed they basically don't see their involvement as proportionate.
Has anyone here in Scotland taken their complaints to stage 2? What happened? Do I just have to accept that the SPSO are captured? Does anyone know anything about this
