Killed by gunmen.

'A former Afghan MP and her bodyguard have been shot dead at her home in the capital Kabul, Afghan police have said.

Mursal Nabizada, 32, was one of the few female MPs who stayed in Kabul after the Taliban seized power in August 2021.'

I read this this morning and I was horrified.

I remember reading about her and her decision to stay at the time.

I just heard about this on WHs. Mursal was so very brave, she is a hero.

It is unrelenting, this cull of women.

Hannah Neumann, a member of the European Parliament, said: "I am sad and angry and want the world to know!" in response to the killing.

"She was killed in darkness, but the Taliban build their system of gender apartheid in full daylight."

It is never ending isn't it.

She was someone, a woman, that actually was so amazingly brave and so incredibly stunning. To stay, knowing that this was her fate shows such strength.

RIP Mursal Nabizada.

I won't forget. I'll make sure my daughter never forgets. So many. So many women killed to make men feel righteous.
