NHS England have ended the ‘opportunity’ to bid for a £100k contract to train midwives in ‘inclusion’ - excellent news. See previous threads, or this blog post for details. Thanks to the many mumsnetters who signed the open letter objecting to it, too 😀

Fantastic news. The idea that any lobby is trying to divert maternity services given the appalling state of so many of them was outrageous - especially when you looked at the grim nature of the "research" and the individuals hoping to profit from it.

thanks for your thanks 😀. I was not in the very front line of this campaign and a few others did more than me…but I was pretty close to it. There was a lot of hard work done over the Xmas and New year holidays when everyone was up to the eyes in the usual family stuff but we did it. Now we are alert to what happens next.
