Surrogacy exploitation views moving mainstream

Just thought I’d pop this on. I’m not sure if this has been put on another thread.

So the DM is running the piece by Claudia Connel. It’s clear and succinct- surrogacy is an abuse of womens bodies. I hope ordinary readers of the DM who may not know about much about this issue, begin to open their eyes. There isn’t many comments yet to feel the mood.
I also hope that surrogacy starts to be seriously questioned more in the mainstream media. Small steps.

Back in the Kim Cotton days a woman in the next road became a surogate for a family member.

I watched that woman get bigger and bigger and look more and more ill as she carried frigging triplets for someone else.

This was late 80s and even then I remember thinking this is so bloody wrong.

Even with all the advances and not putting loads of whatever they stick in, no kids not my field, I still find it as abhorrent now as i did then.
