Siyamak sits down with Amie Ichikawa, founder of Women to Women.

There is a recent law in California that allows inmates to choose the male or female prison based on how they self-identify without any biological examinations. Among these transferees are convicted sex offenders. Today Amie discusses what's happening inside female prisons.'

This is Amie's organisation - www.womaniiwoman.org/who-we-are

'“Woman II Woman is a community of previously incarcerated women providing resources, education, and support services for system-impacted women.'

Thanks for posting this, Arabella.

Amie is such a good advocate for women on the inside. This interview is excellent: she is comfortable and given lots of space to explain. She shares some awful details very calmly.

Yes, very impressive how she manages to remain calm.
